Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon runner, and mother of 3, Paula Smith (from Laytown, Co Meath) was delighted to make a donation €1000.00 to the Dublin Simon Community earlier today. The money was given to, Super-mum, Paula to celebrate the 3 year partnership of on-line fundraising platform “MyCharity.ie”, and Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon, and will go to support the work of the Dublin Simon Community.

This year was Paula’s 3rd year running the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon, and she decided to run for Dublin Simon because of the high numbers of Homeless people she noticed around Dublin City’s streets. ‘Even today, I saw so many people on the streets who need help… I hope this money will go some way in helping out!’ said Paula.

Paula raised over “€1500 for Dublin Simon through her MyCharity Fundraising page. “. With 3 kids, a full time job, and training for the race, the last thing I needed was to have to run after people for money.. MyCharity made it so easy!”
