Race Bag & Goodies 2019

Re-Usable Race Bag

This year we are giving every participant a clear, re-usable drawstring bag.  This bag is for participants to carry their belongings on the course on race day, or alternatively to place their belongings in the baggage drop off area.

Anyone who has received their entry by post this year will already have received this bag with their race number, and anyone collecting their race number at one of our pick-up points will also be given the option of receiving this bag.

Our event is the largest all-female event of its kind in the world, with over 30,000 women taking part each year.  For an event of this size, there are safety and security policies set by the statutory bodies that must be adhered to.  Therefore, we are required to provide see-through bags to participants, which meet the requirements of the statutory bodies.

Did you get a bag that you don’t need?

No problem, we’re introducing a drop-off point located near the Baggage Drop Off area at Merrion Square, and anyone who would like to return their bag can return it there after the race.  Any bags returned will be re-used next year.

We are actively looking at ways to make our event more environmentally friendly in future and we are already exploring new ways of adhering to the safety requirements with this in mind.

The safety of all of our participants is paramount.

 Goodie Bag

 We aren’t giving out a goodie bag this year.  Instead we’re giving everyone a race bag as detailed above, and after you’ve completed the 10k, you’ll be able to pick up some goodies from our partners in the Reunion Area, including:

  • Fulfil bars,

  • Coke Zero,

  • Glenilen Farm yoghurts, cheesecakes and lemonade;

  • Dale Farm ice cream;

  • Keogh’s popcorn and

  • Nudest Foods.

And don’t forget – this year, for the first time ever, our title sponsors Vhi are giving every single participant an exclusive finisher t-shirt after the finish line!
