Keep fit with Parkrun & your Local Sports Partnership in preparation for the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon, Monday 5th June 2017.

Christmas and New Year is just around the corner and it’s a very busy time in households around the country.

Why not take time out to keep up your fitness level by joining your nearest Parkrun group, walk jog or run the 5k at various locations around the country

Parkruns are free timed runs in pleasant parkland on Saturday mornings and are open to all the family.

It’s free, walking, jogging or running in a parkrun event is totally free. You don’t pay to walk, jog or run, ever. Every event is organised by a group of local volunteers.

It’s for Everyone, whether you’re young or old, male or female, fit or unfit, able-bodied, or not, you’re always welcome. It’s not about racing, it’s about walking, jogging or running.

It’s Forever, so long as Parkrun have their fantastic volunteers and backers to make it happen, their events will always be free and everyone will always be welcome!
