County Champion:Shauna Kearney

Meet our amazing County Champions: Shauna from Bunclody! Shauna will be representing Wexford at this year's Vhi Women's Mini Marathon! 💪🏃‍♀️🇮🇪

“I'm a proud mum and caregiver to my wonderful 3-year-old child, who happens to be visually impaired. It's a privilege to take care of my little one, and I pour my heart and soul into ensuring their well-being.

In addition to being a caregiver, I'm also a member of the Irish high-performance boxing team. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be part of such an incredible team, but the reward of representing my country is indescribable.

I'm from the charming town of Bunclody, Wexford, and becoming a county champion would be something that would make  my child and my community proud.

I feel grateful for my experiences and proud of what I've accomplished. My dedication to my family, my sport, and my community is what made me want to take part in this year's Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon.”
