Charity Spotlight: Concern

Who they are

Concern is an international humanitarian organisation that strives for a world free from poverty, fear and oppression.

They deliver life-saving and life-changing interventions to the world's poorest and most vulnerable people. From rapid emergency response to innovative development programming, we go to the hardest to reach places to make sure that no-one is left behind.

What they are doing

For over 50 years they have been working with the world's poorest people to transform their lives. Today they are a team of over 3,500 highly skilled and dedicated professionals from 50 countries who share an exceptional depth and diversity of experience.

Each year their specialist teams work with 25 million people living on less than $2 a day, from war zones in Ukraine and Somalia to devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

They have a track record in developing cutting-edge approaches that have pushed the boundaries of innovations in maternal and child health care, cash transfers, emergency response and more.
